OUR PETG FILAMENT

   Our PETG filament is perfect for those who are looking to use a material thats easy to 3D print. PETG is more firm than PLA and rarely warps. Our PETG 3d Printing filament has repeatedly proven itself in tests on various machines for flow consistency and print quality. We recommend PETG for beginners as it’s more forgiving and easier to work with as it cools & sets faster reducing warpage (EVEN BETTER THAN PLA) . PETG Filament tends to be a bit more translucent and shiny. PETG filament is easier to use and more stable and will never dissolve or biodegrade. Regardless of the "Fused Filament Fabrication" (FFF) 3D printer or machine you are using, the consistency of the round diameter provides optimum flow through the extruder, tube, and nozzle.

   As each desktop 3D printer has its own unique characteristics, you might need to tweak your temperature settings. To obtain optimal results for your prints you need to take into account variables like your 3D printer’s nozzle diameter, your print speed, layer height, room temperature, draft of colder air passing over your heated bed etc. Every printer is different, for each material & color, make sure to take notes of what works and what doesn't. Our plastic PLA filament is excellent quality, it is very strong and durable, and has no kinks or breaks making it a top choice for 3d Printing material.

PETG MATERIAL GENERAL INFO 

PolyEthylene Terephthalate Glycol thermoplastic filament is a premium grade material. It has low odor and is guaranteed to be free from heavy metals. PETG has much less tendency to warp compared to PLA, although it can still warp a little in a cold environment or on large objects. Although PETG can be printed both with and without a heated print bed, if your desktop 3D printer does have a heated print bed it is recommended to set your print bed temperature to approximately 50° to 60°C which will relax the lower layers of your print without overheating them. One easy way to deal with this, is to have an active cooling fan cooling down the PETG immediately after it exits the nozzle. .

STORAGE

   When storing your 3d Printing PETG filament for extended periods, place it in a resealable bag (Ziploc) along with the included silica packet (few grains of rice work just as well). This will keep your filament dry & free from any dust or dirt particles & moisture.
